Audit Trails Report

You can create an Audit Trails report capturing up to 90 days of records. Audit Trails reports support only the CSV format.

Creating reports

You can create a report either from the Reports > Create New Report menu item, or by clicking Create New Report on the Reports page.

The following report templates are available for Audit Trails reports:

  • Export Archive: This template is in the CSV format.

To create a report:

  1. Click Create New Report.

    The Create New Report page appears.
  2. Click the Audit Trails tab.
  3. Select the report template.
  4. Click Next.

    The Report Details page appears.
  5. Enter a Report Name and Description.

  6. Select the format in which you want to export the report.

  7. Select one of the following to set the schedule on which you want to generate the report.

    1. On demand only – Select this option to generate the report when needed.

    2. Recurring schedule – Select this option to set the recurring schedule to automatically generate reports. Perform the following to set the schedule.

      1. Start date: Type the date or click the date list to pick the date from a calendar.

      2. Recur every: Schedules the task to recur. Select Day, Week, or Month from the list to choose how often the report is to be generated. It repeats at the time set above.

      3. Select one of the options to set the date or instance at which the schedule should end.

      The amount of data included in a report is based on its reporting frequency. For example, a weekly report covers one week of data, while a daily report includes just a single day. Regardless of how often reports are generated—whether recurring or on demand—each report can include up to 90 days of data at most.

  8. Click Next.

    The Filters page appears.

  9. Set the date you want to include data up to in Status as of.The audit logs that have occurred within the stipulated time duration are captured in the report.

  10. You can either capture All activities or Select activities that you want to capture in the report. If you choose to capture specific activities, then select the Audit log filters that you want to capture in the report.

  11. Click Next.

    The Share reports page appears.

  12. Select the recipients to share the reports.

  13. Click Submit Report.
    The report request is submitted, and the Reports page appears with your report added to the top.

Reports are limited to a million rows in the output and will fail to build if this limit is exceeded.
If you want to receive a report as an email, when you generate a report, you have to add your email ID to the recipient list.
You can also share the reports with the members who have access to the Neurons platform.
